The Accessibility Institute (TAI)
The Accessibility Institute (TAI) starts where many others stop, addressing the root-cause of poverty and exclusion of persons with disabilities: lack of opportunities. Its mission is to break the loop between disability, poverty, and exclusion in Africa. It challenges the narrative about persons with disabilities as a powerless burden to society by offering them the tools and the opportunities they need in their path towards self-reliance, economic empowerment, and social inclusion.
TAI develops mobility, productivity and working devices for people with disabilities.
